So cute!

A little comment, I want to remember, and one I thought many, okay all, could giggle at...

We finished reading the Book of Mormom this week.  After I ended, and closed by copy, Porter shut his copy and loudly said, "and they lived happily ever after..."

I wish it was that easy!  :)

Hello World...

I have been trying to find a cute picture for the past little while, but am getting tired and finding I am fighting more with my computer than I would like.  I will try again tomorrow.  I just wanted to leave a note letting everyone know we are still here and getting along.

Life is crazy and my three little muglets do not let me feel sorry for us or get down for very long.  I am so grateful to have them in my life and be able to giggle, cry, read, play, etc. with them every single day.  There is not a day that goes by that I do not count my blessings and smile when I realize how blessed I really am.

To friends and family who have held our hands the past year, thank you.  It truly has been a trying one.  I look back at the last 12 months and am so grateful for the prayers, words of encouragement, hugs, and support, and am so grateful.  I truly do know that many have been sent to help us get through this.

I am so grateful for the best mom and dad in the world!  And a brother and sister who have loved and held me up, sometimes every day.  Their acts do not go unnoticed and I am forever grateful.  I am grateful for their sweethearts as well, the hugs and kind words are so appreciated.

To a wonderful family-in-law who I will always love and cherish.  Their support and willingness to help out when needed as been such a strength.  They have continued to keep us as part of their family and I am so blessed.

I just want the world to know that life is okay.  Some days are harder than others, and some days seem so long.  But, I am literally carried daily by those around me.  I know Heavenly Father has placed me perfectly to be with those to get through this.  I would not ever imagined this is where I would be, but I am learning to be grateful for the lessons.

And, someday, I hope I can look back and understand.

Love you all, thanks for your support.

Puppet Show!

So, to update quickly...

We have been blessed with the opportunity to rent a home near my parents.  It is in the ward I grew up in and allows for so much space, really!  It is for sale, so I know it won't be forever, but for now we are enjoying the space and loving all of the room and fun things we can do.  One favorite thing is putting on puppet shows.  So funny!  This is one of the favorite places to sit, fish from, perform from, etc.

We are loving it!  And grateful to call it home while we get to!

Hello!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR. SEUSS!

This past Halloween, we dressed up as characters from The Cat in the Hat.  It was one of my favorite books when I was little, and I am blessed to have mischevious and trouble-making kids!  I found it on my phone and decided I should post it.  They turned out so cute and loved wearing their funny "hats" all night!

And good timing as it was Dr. Suess' birthday yesterday...

McKenzi, Thing 1;  Emmalee, The Cat in the Hat;  Porter, Thing 2

And...

This is why I usually help the kids pick out their clothes for the day.  This is what we wore yesterday for the better part of the day.  I told them to go change out of their "jammies" and this is what they came down in.  Silly!  Silly!  Silly!

Welcome, Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog!

All of the changes in our life have created a need for a new blog! I really do not feel it appropriate to write details to the open world or look back at where we have come from. From here on out, this is our life. This is what we are up to. This is what makes it bearable. I have so much to still be grateful for and so many reasons to smile!

(Please keep Brady and our family in your prayers. Although I have many blessing of strength and encouragement about me, there are still hard days for the kids and I, and our hearts never stop praying for Brady.)
